How do I try and choose my bedding?

The mattress supports 2/3 of the stress imposed on the bedding and the box spring the remaining 1/3. It is therefore recommended to change them at the same time.
Here are some simple but essential steps to take before making a decision:
· lie down on the bed for several minutes and close your eyes to concentrate on what you feel;
· lie on your back: if you can pass your hand between your lower back and the mattress, the mattress is too firm;
· lean on one elbow: if it sinks into the mattress, it is not firm enough;
· always try with two people if you sleep together.
· ask for as much advice as possible in store, on technologies, mattress fillings, etc.

How does the Technilat warranty work?

If you have a complaint about your bedding. You must address your request to the partner store that sold you your bedding, accompanied by the original invoice and photos of the product.

How to keep your home fresh?

🌤️ The day
Blinds and windows should be closed during their entire exposure to the sun. Their double obstacle limits the entry of heat into the room.

If your home has several windows, alternate opening and closing them depending on their exposure to the sun.

Leave your windows open on the shaded side if this allows for drafts. If it is not possible to create drafts with only the shaded windows, keep them closed.

Cool rooms by evaporating water: place a damp towel or cloth in front of an open window so that the evaporation cools the atmosphere. Re-wet the cloth as soon as it is dry. Place a block of ice or a bag of ice cubes in a draft (in front of a fan).

🌖 In the evening
When the sun has set AND the outside temperature has dropped, open the last windows. Regularly pour a bucket of water, if possible, in the evening after sunset, on a terrace, balcony or window sill.

🌙 At night
Leave windows open whenever possible and allow for airflow.

Can all mattresses be used on an electric bed base?

No, if you have or want to have an electric bed base, be aware that you will need mattresses specifically made to support the movements and folds of an electric bed base.
Conversely, a mattress suitable for electric bed bases can very well be used on a fixed bed base.

I need a special size of bedding, is this possible?

Yes, depending on the model we can manufacture mattresses, box springs and headboards in special dimensions to fit your interior.
It is also possible to make certain mattresses and box springs in half-basket form (rounded corners).
