Plateau

The sleeping part is made partly of Wool and Mohair. Mohair is a wool made from the fleece of the Angora goat, a goat whose existence was known in Tibet 2000 years BC. Combined with its thermal insulating power, mohair is very light.

Visco Thermic

A revolutionary thermo-regulating technology. It is based on the use of reactive micro-capsules that have the capacity to absorb, store and restore heat and therefore regulate the temperature by keeping it constant.

100% metal frame springs

A 100% spring mattress that provides consistent comfort across the entire surface of the mattress. The entire sleeping surface of the mattress benefits from full ventilation on 4 perimeter sides. The heat treatment of the springs ensures increased quality and longevity. The edges of the mattress provide firm and lasting comfort thanks to the double steel frame, stapled around the perimeter of the spring structure. The Atmosphère collection offers 7 sleeping zones combined with non-deformable perimeter reinforcement. The diameter of the wires is adapted to the sleeping zone, and therefore to the morphology of the body.

Why choose a Technilat mattress?

We have been manufacturing our mattresses in France in the south of Aveyron (department 1984) since 12.
Technilat mattresses are manufactured and assembled exclusively in our factory by our teams.
We offer all existing technologies in mattresses: Natural and synthetic latex, Pocket springs with foam frame or metal frame, Memory foam, HR foam.
And in each technology, several heights and comforts are available, in order to best meet your needs.
You will find the mattresses exclusively at bedding specialists, we refuse to offer our mattresses on the internet because we want the mattresses to be sold by bedding specialists who provide professional advice and allow you to try and choose a mattress that suits you.

What size bedding should I choose?

Today, the average size of bedding purchased is increasingly moving towards 160 x 200 cm or even 180 x 200 cm, whereas 10 years ago the standard was 140 x 190.
If you have enough space and you sleep as a couple, we recommend that you opt for bedding measuring at least 160 x 200 cm. During the night we move on average 40 times, and the larger the space, the more room you have to move and avoid disturbing your sleep and that of your partner.
In hot weather, the large dimensions also make it easier to stretch out, especially if you sleep in starfish mode 😉

How do I try and choose my bedding?

The mattress supports 2/3 of the stress imposed on the bedding and the box spring the remaining 1/3. It is therefore recommended to change them at the same time.
Here are some simple but essential steps to take before making a decision:
· lie down on the bed for several minutes and close your eyes to concentrate on what you feel;
· lie on your back: if you can pass your hand between your lower back and the mattress, the mattress is too firm;
· lean on one elbow: if it sinks into the mattress, it is not firm enough;
· always try with two people if you sleep together.
· ask for as much advice as possible in store, on technologies, mattress fillings, etc.

How do I maintain my Technilat mattress?

Your mattress will be with you for an average of 10 years of your life, and taking care of your mattress also means guaranteeing you even better nights.
We lose an average of 40cl of water every night of sleep. For a couple, the mattress must therefore absorb and evacuate nearly 300 liters of water per year!
This is why it is essential to maintain your bedding.
· Reverse the head and foot sections of your mattress. The structure of your Technilat mattress allows this.
· If your mattress has a Winter/Summer side, turn it over once a month
· When you air your room, don't hesitate to remove the mattress cover. For your health it is good to air your room and your mattress too!
· Vacuum your mattress and on and under your box spring
