Our History
30 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
In 1984, Jean-Rémy Bergounhe started the manufacturing of slatted bed bases in Millau. In 1985, he opened a workshop in Rodez and hired his first employee.
Little by little, the company Socofal Technilat developed and specialised in medium to top of the range bedding. In 2016, it boasted 65 employees and annual turnover of 12 million euros.

Technilat is one of the main players in medium and top of the range bedding in France.
Since the company was founded in 1984, our goal has been to meet three requirements: "Health, Comfort, Technology".
Every year, 20,000 mattresses, 15,000 bed bases and 2,000 headboards are manufactured by our two production plants located near Rodez.
Whether fixed or for adjustable, the bedding we make has to meet the demands of each consumer.
Whether in terms of design, comfort or technology, each year we endeavour to improve our collections.
Our mattresses are designed and made using innovative materials that employ all the technology on the market:

To ensure you grasp the added value of our various products, the dealers we use are genuine professionals of the bedding sector.
Our choice is for production that is 100% French and located in the Aveyron area on 2 production sites, backed up by a selection of suppliers that are exclusively French and European. A team of 65 people strives to search for and transform the best components, as well as to develop products and materials that are increasingly innovative, such as Devtex, in the most environmentally-friendly way.
All our products are tested and checked before delivery. They are guaranteed for 5 to 12 years.
Our products are CTB Literie certified and all Technilat mattresses boast the Belle Literie or Belle Literie Excellence labels.
The Belle Literie label can be found on bedding compliant with the stringent specifications established by the Centre Technique du Bois et de l'Ameublement (CTBA, the French wood and furniture technical agency). It covers all the elements encompassed by bedding: mattresses, pillows, duvets, etc.
