This weekend we are switching to daylight saving time, and we are moving our clocks forward by 1 hour.
For your sleep, how can you make a smooth transition? Here are some tips:
· Bring bedtime forward: 15, then 30 and 45 minutes earlier in the days leading up to the time change.
· reinforce routines that help reduce excitement
· reduce exposure to light and noise about two hours before bedtime 🧘🏻♂️
· turn off screens about an hour before bedtime
· expose yourself to natural light in the morning to wake up better 🌄
· reduce alcohol or coffee consumption after dinner 🥛
· if you take a nap, choose the early afternoon 💤
· As often as possible: exercise regularly 🏃🏽♀️
